Meet Your Dedicated Financial Planner

“I'm T.J. van Gerven, a fee-only, fiduciary financial planner based on Martha's Vineyard. I started Memento Financial Planning because I kept seeing the same thing: smart, high-earning tech professionals — people who are genuinely good with money — drifting through critical financial decisions without a real plan.

I specialize in dual-income tech households navigating equity compensation: RSUs, ISOs, ESPP, the whole stack. My job is to make sure you're not leaving money on the table, paying more in taxes than you have to, or making irreversible decisions without thinking them through first.

Fee-only means I don't earn commissions. Fiduciary means your interests come first. Always.”
